Disclaimer Transfer credit from another institution must not exceed equivalent course credit (typically 3) and will be based on a standard of 37.5 semester contact hours equal 3 credits. One and two course credit transfer will also be considered providing they are proportioned to the 37.5 semester contact hour standard. Course equivalencies are determined by the department offering the course. The course equivalency guide is updated regularly as new courses are evaluated. If the course does not appear on the list, the equivalent will be considered upon application and admission to UMass Dartmouth. UMass Dartmouth reserves the right to change course equivalencies as curriculum updates occur.
